About Waterjet Cutting

Waterjet cutting is a process where a jet stream of water is forced through a tiny nozzle at a very high pressure. This process provides many unique capabilities and advantages. These include the cutting of materials and parts often considered too costly or even impossible with other methods. Also, this type of cutting provides accuracies of up to ±0.005 of an inch. Therefore, it is perfect for creating inlay designs. Furthermore, small spaces and sharp square corners are two of the fantastic attributes of waterjet cutting. Optional, abrasive waterjet cutting is another feature that we offer. This option adds garnet to the waterjet allowing it to cut through the hardest of materials such as stone and metals. Consequently, this process leaves smooth and extremely accurate edges. Especially relevant is the fact that water jet cutting is an environmentally friendly process.
